Fear-Mapping Questionnaire
Before our first session, you’ll complete a detailed questionnaire about your specific fears, triggers, and goals.
Step 3
Virtual Sessions
Each session is 45-60 minutes. We work through:
– Understanding the root causes of your fear
-Learning anxiety management techniques (Here & Now, breathing, grounding)
– Visualisation and mental rehearsal practices
-Creating your personalised action plan
Step 4
Homework & Practice
Between sessions, you’ll have specific exercises to practice:
– Visualization exercises (Katrice will teach you how to incorporate this into your daily life)
– Bathtub confidence-building (if comfortable)
– Gradual exposure exercises (at your pace)

Ongoing Support
Email or WhatsApp support between sessions included. You’re not alone in this.

Can I really overcome water fear without getting in water?
Yes! The psychological work is 70% of overcoming aquaphobia. Once your mind is ready, your body follows much more easily.
Will I eventually need in-person sessions?
Maybe, maybe not. Some people do online coaching, then join local swim classes. Others come for in-person private sessions afterward. Some achieve their goals online. It depends on YOUR goal.
What if I don’t have access to a pool?
That’s fine! We can work entirely with visualization, bathtub practice, and mental rehearsal until you’re ready for a pool.
Do I need any special equipment?
Just a device with internet and video capability (phone, tablet, computer). That’s it!
